Our 3000 series bearings consist of metal raceways and metal balls. The raceways and balls can be chrome alloy or corrosion-resistant stainless steel. The bearings may be protected from dirt entering the raceways by either metal shields, labyrinth seals, or rubber seals, depending on the application. Where speeds are low, commercial-grade bearings are recommended. For higher-speed applications where both noise and longevity are important, precision bearings may be the right choice.
